Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Narayan Rane said that MSMEs will play a crucial role in building a self-reliant India and a developed nation by 2047. While inaugurating a Multi-purpose exhibition and convention center at Sakinaka in Mumbai today, he called upon all stakeholders to strive towards this goal, urging entrepreneurs to reduce transportation time to increase profits. He highlighted the potential for increased entrepreneurship, employment, and technological adoption within the MSME sector.

The Minister also inaugurated Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Facilitation Branch office of Pune, through video conferencing. An exhibition showcasing products from various MSME sectors was also organized, featuring 103 stalls from entities such as PM Vishwakarma, the Khadi and Village Industries Commission, and the Coir Board. Approximately 150 small and medium entrepreneurs participated, with stalls allocated for Incubators, Women entrepreneurs, and SC/ST entrepreneurs. The minister visited the exhibition and interacted with the entrepreneurs present.
