Mumbai/IBNS: Indian cricket icon Virat Kohli will not be available for the remainder of the Test series against England due to personal reasons, the selection committee announced on Saturday.
Kohli, who opted out of the first two Tests, will not be available for the next three as well.
The Board fully respects and supports Mr. Kohlis decision, a press statement by the Indian cricket board (BCCI) reads.
The Mens Selection Committee has announced the Indian squad for the next three Tests of the five-match series which is evenly placed at 1-1.
Allrounder Ravindra Jadeja and wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul have been picked in the squad but they are yet to get fitness clearance from the BCCI medical team.
The two had missed the second Test due to injury.
The third Test will commence on February 15 in Rajkot while the fourth Test kickstarts in Ranchi from February 23.
The fifth and final Test of the series will be played in Dharamsala from March 7.
