The closing and award ceremony of the 7th North Eastern Youth Festival will be held at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala tomorrow. Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Tinku Roy announced the news at a press conference in Mahakaran today. He said that on February 26, the North Eastern Youth Festival was inaugurated at Purbasha premises in Agartala.

Apart from the distribution of prizes, various cultural programs have been organized for the finale tomorrow. Renowned music artist Shaan (Shantanu Mukherjee) will also perform the program. Also, artists from the state and outside the state will perform various cultural programs.

The sports minister said that the program will be open to all. There will be dedicated parking arrangements to avoid traffic congestion in the city. There will be vehicle parking facilities at Umakant and Nagerjla bus stands for visitors coming from South Tripura in the state. Those coming from North Tripura will have arrangements to park their vehicles at Khudiram Bose School Grounds, adjacent to Jail Road. People coming from Khowai, Kamalpur, Kailashahar, and Dhalai can park their vehicles at the Radhanagar bus stand.

The sports minister sought everyone’s cooperation to make tomorrow’s festival a success. The Secretary of Youth Affairs and Sports Department was also present at the press conference. PK Chakraborty, Sports Department Director, SB Nath.
