7,307 pilgrims leave Jammu base camp for Amarnath Yatra –

Another batch of 7307  pilgrims left Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas base camp in Jammu for the Kashmir valley to perform pilgrimage to the Amarnath Cave Shrine. The pilgrims left the base camp in a cavalcade of 284 vehicles early this morning. The batch included 5534 Men, 1586 Women, 25 Children, 138 Sadhus & 24 sadhvis.  Of these, 3081 pilgrims left for the Baltal base camp at 3:15 AM and 4226 for the Pahalgam base camp at 3:58 AM, from where they will proceed for their further journey to the holy cave.
