In a significant development following the plane crash in Ahmedabad, nearly 177 DNA samples of the deceased have been successfully identified. Minister of State Harsh Sanghavi informed this in a social media post. Medical Superintendent of Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, Dr Rakesh Joshi, told news persons that 24 mortal remains will be handed over this morning. Meanwhile, the state administration has stated that DNA sampling for identifying the plane crash victims is nearly complete. The state Forensic Science Laboratory, in collaboration with central agencies, has been expediting the forensic and legal formalities to ensure a timely closure for the grieving families.
