The 16th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2026 will commence tomorrow in Ranchi, Jharkhand, and continue until April 12. The tournament will follow a division-based format introduced by Hockey India to enhance competition and player development. Division ‘A’ features 12 teams divided into four pools, with knockout matches beginning on April 9 and the final scheduled for April 12.
Divisions ‘B’ and ‘C’ will be played in league formats from April 1 to April 6 and from April 1 to April 4, respectively. All matches will be held at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astroturf Hockey Stadium. Teams will earn three points for a win, one for a draw, and none for a loss, with tied knockout matches in Division ‘A’ to be decided by shoot-outs as per FIH rules.
