148th Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath begins in Ahmedabad –

In Gujarat, the 148th edition of the annual Rath Yatra of lord Jagannath began this morning in Ahmedabad amidst tight security arrangements. As per the century-old tradition, the historic Rath Yatra began from 400 years 400-year-old Lord Jagannath Temple in the Jamalpur area of the old city. Union Home Minister Amit Shah performed Mangala Aarti at Shri Jagannath Temple in Ahmedabad and sought blessings, devotional darshan ahead of the 148th Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath in the early morning today.
