Showcasing Kerala’s tourism potential before an international audience, the business session of the 12th edition of the Kerala Travel Mart 2024 got underway at the Sagara Samudrika Convention Centre at Wellington Island in Kochi this morning.
The biennial event is mainly focusing on Responsible Tourism, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism, wedding destinations, and cruise tourism. Over 2,800 buyers are participating in the three-day event, including 800 foreign buyers drawn from the UK, the US, Europe, and the Gulf countries. Three hundred forty stalls under eight categories have been set up for the event. State Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the Kerala Travel Mart last evening.
